This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected in connection with private voice lessons conducted by Audrey Bell and Bell Voice Studios. Lessons are conducted in the instructor’s home and may involve students who are minors.

1. Information Collected

The following information may be collected from students and their parents or guardians:

Student name and age
Parent/guardian name and contact information
Emergency contact information
Scheduling and attendance records
Payment information
Lesson recordings

This information is collected only for the purpose of providing voice instruction and maintaining a safe learning environment.

2. Recording of Lessons

For the safety and protection of both students and the instructor, all lessons may be audio and/or video recorded.

Recordings are used solely for:

Student and instructor safety
Documentation in case of disputes or concerns
Occasionally reviewing lessons for teaching purposes

Recordings are not shared publicly and are not used for marketing or promotional purposes without separate written permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Recordings are stored securely and may be deleted after a reasonable retention period unless needed for safety documentation.

Recordings are only recorded in the voice area and students will be secure in restrooms and other spaces.

3. Use of Information

Collected information is used only to:

Schedule and conduct lessons
Communicate with parents/guardians
Maintain safety records
Manage billing and studio administration

Information will not be sold or shared with third parties, except when required by law.

4. Parental Consent

Because students may be minors, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent for:

Participation in lessons
Collection of student information
Recording of lessons for safety purposes

By enrolling a student in lessons, the parent or guardian acknowledges and accepts this privacy policy.

5. Security

Reasonable steps are taken to protect personal information and recordings from unauthorized access, including secure storage and restricted access.

6. Lesson Time and Punctuality

Respect for time helps ensure a positive experience for all students.

Students should arrive on time for their scheduled lesson.
Students who arrive more than 5 minutes late may not be permitted to attend the lesson that day, as late arrivals can disrupt the schedule for other students.
Lesson fees are still required for missed lessons due to late arrival.

Lessons will end at the scheduled time to respect both the instructor’s schedule and the next student’s lesson time. Students may be briefly dismissed at the end of their allotted lesson time so that the next lesson can begin promptly.

7. Access and Questions

Parents or guardians may request to review or update their information at any time.
